The hotel also boasts a casino, nightclub, great restaurants, beach and poolside dining and more so there is plenty to enjoy. Arriving early? Take a dip in the pool, walk on the beach, take an afternoon nap in a hammock, go shopping, tour the Bacardi Rum factory, just drink the rum.
TOPICS WILL INCLUDE:
CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS, DEVELOPMENT & COMMERCIAL AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY:
It all starts with a breakfast meeting with one of San Juan’s leading bankers who will talk on why he uses and often requires aerial photography on the island properties his bank invests in. Note: Anyone who has spent time in PAPA has heard the legend of the Herrera’s and their amazing Construction Progress aerial photography. On this tiny island, the Herrera’s have amassed an average of 200 sites in their monthly construction progress photography. During their two-day photography marathon, both Luis and daughter Lizzie, flying to different ends of the island, shoot, do post production and send out or deliver their photography to a enviable clientele base that includes bankers, developers, construction companies and more. How do they remember each site? And this is just one part of the Herrera’s business.AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHERS AS LEGAL EAGLES: SO YOU’VE BEEN CALLED TO BE AN EXPERT WITNESS…NOW WHAT?
Being in the business of providing information, you may be called upon to give expert testimony in a legal case. This can be a very lucrative opportunity for your business or it can be a time consuming misery. Luis Herrera and others in PAPA will share their experiences in this legal prospect and you be the judge so next time, if you are asked, you will be able to provide nothing but the truth.NON-AERIAL ARCHITECTURAL PHOTOGRAPHY
During this shaky and unsure economy, we need to find the jobs that pay and sometimes we need to offer photography services that are outside our aerial comfort zone. Ground and interior photography can be a very profitable area that is an easy add-on for most aerial photographers. The discussion will center on how and why many PAPA members offer these additional services and more.PHOTOGRAMMETRY VS. VERTICAL PHOTOGRAPHY-WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE AND WHY YOU NEED TO KNOW.
