PAPA Lifetime Achievement Award

The PAPA Lifetime Achievement Award is one of the most prestigious honors that can be bestowed on a member of PAPA. It is not bestowed lightly, and is not an annual award, but rather a special opportunity to honor an exceptional individual. The PAPA Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to the PAPA member who, in the judgment of the PAPA Executive Board, contributed a lifetime of work in Aerial Photography. Nominations for this award are solicited from the PAPA membership.

For a member of PAPA to be considered for the Lifetime Achievement Award, he or she must demonstrate dedication to his craft, to his colleagues and to PAPA. He or she must have made special efforts to be involved in the PAPA community and is awarded in recognition for his or her accomplishments associated within the field of Aerial Photography including some or all of the following:

  • Excellence in the art of aerial photography
  • Success with his or her own aerial photography business
  • Ongoing and long-term commitment to offer guidance to his or her aerial photography colleagues
  • Valuable contribution to the field of aerial photography.

The Lifetime Achievement Award consists of an engraved plaque presented at the PAPA International Annual Conference. The first award was bestowed in 2005.
