The popularity of the PAPA annual conference has generated three additional yearly workshops with the purpose of having ongoing educational events that could reach more members by being held closer to more members' homes and businesses. Non-PAPA members are also encouraged to attend these meetings to get a taste of PAPA. These workshops are called the PAPA Regional Events and are held across the country, drawing members to their choice of three locations across the contiguous United States with meetings planned on the West Coast, the Mid-west and on the East Coast.
Smaller by design, the PAPA Regional meetings can touch on more location sensitive issues such as flight restrictions and can even include pre-planned photo flights. Regionally hosted by a member in their area and usually ending with a banquet, BBQ or meal, these meetings turn competitors into colleagues.
